STEM for Others was founded by passionate high school students who saw firsthand the inequalities in STEM education access. What started as a grassroots initiative has grown into a global organization with 700+ volunteers and chapters on four continents.

STEMplore is STEM for Others' free e-learning platform featuring 20+ courses, educational videos, and articles built by 150+ volunteer developers. It covers cybersecurity, HTML/CSS, NASA science, financial health, and more, making quality STEM learning globally accessible at no cost.
Absolutely. Every program, course, webinar, and resource is 100% free for students. Our mission is to eliminate financial barriers to STEM education. There are no fees, subscriptions, or hidden costs, now or ever.

Yes! We actively encourage students to launch chapters at their high schools or colleges. As a Chapter President, you will lead STEM mentoring sessions, host events, and connect peers with free learning resources. There is no cost to start a chapter.
We have roles for many skill sets: Chapter Presidents lead local school programs, Mentors teach K-12 students, Curriculum Developers create free course content, and Web and App Developers build our STEMplore platform. All roles are fully remote-friendly.
