Abram Agnew Weekly Review (12/20/24)

Hi Golden eagles! It's hard to believe it's already been six weeks since this Scratch program started. I've had an amazing time getting to know all of the kids and exploring coding together. We started off with some fun games on Tynker, where many students got their first experience with block coding by following along with the interactive activities. In the weeks that followed, we transitioned to Scratch. We began by learning how to create accounts and navigate the platform, then moved on to understanding how to design a game. So far, we've worked together to create two games: a ping-pong game and an apple catch game (see below pictures). The students came up with so many creative ideas to enhance and build upon these basic projects, making them even more exciting!
