This week at Oakwood we continued our regular volunteering. I have been working with one 6th grade student who is interested in more advanced math, and wants to learn more material in order to catch up with the advanced competition based classes she is taking. I taught how to factor and the theory behind it, and how to interpret and graph parabolas along with their transformations. There was no homework help this week as there was no test or assignment anyone was struggling with, so this is good news as the students are doing great in their math class. I hope to keep helping these students and get everyone up to speed and continue to excel in these advanced classes. I am proud of the students as they are showing quick improvement on strengthening new subjects. Great job this week oakwood!
