About Carlos
Hola! My name is Carlos, and I am a senior at Midlothian High School in the greater Richmond area, Virginia. I have always had a soft spot for math and biology; particularly, the medical sciences interest me. Soon, I hope to pursue a career in medicine. As a middle school student, I had a passion for learning (still do!), and looking back, I wish STEM for Others had existed then. I would have definitely participated in their programs. Throughout high school, I taught and coached both friends and new acquaintances in everything from sports and fitness to algebra and physics. Therefore, my mission and hope at STEM For Others is to give to others what I too desire: an opportunity to pursue STEM learning with the help of smart, like-minded individuals like my peers at STEM For Others.
