About Ryan
Hi! I am Ryan Kim, a junior at Bellarmine College Preparatory and the Co-Founder of STEM For Others. Ever since I was young, I've had a deep passion for math and computer science, fostered through the incredible opportunities I was given. Unfortunately, these opportunities are often disproportionately withheld from marginalized communities from the very start, impacting their education, career, and future. That is why I decided to create STEM For Others, a nonprofit organization based on equalizing educational inequalities by providing the opportunities that are very often unavailable to our youth. Currently I'm a mentor at Castillero Junior High and Sunrise Middle School, tutoring students with math homework and internalizing crucial math concepts.
