Hi Eagles!
One presentation of a game was done today. The game that they had created was an adaptation of a ping pong game we had created together before as shown by the picture below. This time, they made this game for two players. By talking through the code together, they learned more about the day different ways they could have made it their code better and also how angles affect how the ball bounces off the paddles. The other kids needed more time to finish their games, so they're going to spend the rest of this week to add their finishing touches. While we worked on improving these games, we learned more concepts such as how to assign numbers to costumes to create conditions based on the costumes. Another important concept they learned was how to add probability to actions. For instance, if they wanted an action to occur only 10% of the time.
