Castillero Weekly Review (9/12/24)

Hey Cobras! Today was my first day back at Castillero for this school year. It was nice to see a lot of familiar faces as well as many new ones that I hope to meet over the next few months. For the homework center, I helped students with multiplying and adding negative numbers. For some students it was a pretty straight-forward concept but for others it was difficult to understand how to set up the table to combine the numbers. I also talked to the principal and we are currently organizing a day of service on October 16th for around 3 hours during the middle of the day for volunteers who need hours. Overall, a great experience to be back!
