Hey Cobras! Today there was much more people and I brought a volunteer, Joseph Nasser, with me to help out with the homework center. He is a freshman and will be helping out in future weeks to get his 15 CSP hours. In addition, I walked around and talked to a lot of the students. I got to know about their classes and a surprising amount were eager to showcase their failing grades (and I mean Ds and Fs). Some students were working on solving single variable equations which I helped them with. The basic idea is to isolate the variable and coefficient on one side of the equation and the constant on the other side. Then you can divide both sides by the coefficient to isolate the variable. Overall, it was a great visit and I hope to come again soon!
