Kinnaman Weekly Review (3/07/25)

March 7, 2025

Hey Coyotes! In our last meeting (Tuesday, March 4), we continued off with a quick review on print statements, data types, variables, and arithmetic operators, as well as applying them to a short practice problem that involves usage of all these concepts. In the second half of the lesson, we started looking at new basic built-in functions in Python, focusing mainly on str(), int(), bool(), and float(). After that, we looked at examples of conditional statements, primarily if/elif/else statements, and while loops. The next meeting on Wednesday, March 12 will be focused on looking at more built-in functions, learning about a new loop called 'for loops' (the most commonly used conditional in big projects), and making our own user functions to use in our code!
