As of today, Stem For Others has been approved by the IRS to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. A 501(c)(3) company means that any donations are eligible for federal tax reduction. In the past, any donations to us would not be eligible for tax exemption. However, donating to our cause now is win-win situation for everyone! When you go to our donation link and donate, you will receive an email of the donation receipt which can then be used when filing your taxes.
As each donation sets us closer to funding our goal of bringing equality to education, becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit is truly a gift. More donations allow us to maintain our operations, develop curriculum, and create more STEM opportunities for our students.
