STEM for Others Starts First Chapter at Castillero Middle

STEM for Others Mentoring at Castillero Middle

Today was our first mentorship session at our first chapter school of Stem For Others, Castillero Middle School! Me and Marc both went to Castillero, met the students, and began our journey. We helped roughly 25 students with their math homework. While some were on various subjects, for the most part they were learning how to simplify, add, and multiply fractions to a common denominator. We went around, checking students' work, and nudging them in the right direction to find the answer.

At the end of the day, we made a strong impression on the students and established relationships that will become deeper over time as mentors and students. GO COBRAS!
