Sunrise Weekly Review (3/25/24)

STEM for Others Update at Sunrise Middle

This week at Sunrise, we had 9 students, 5 of them were from last time and 4 of them were new students. Marc helped those who were new by setting up their repl accounts and helping them catch up to the rest of the group. Even though these people had no experience with computer science they reported high interest and potential in python which is great news. I taught the rest of the group the input function as well as if functions so that we could begin to create text-based choice games. Since this is an extremely complex topic with a lot of specific syntax, I expect to review and continue on this topic the next time we meet. GO AZTECS!
