Sunrise Weekly Review (8/12/2024)

        Hey Aztecs! Today is the first day for STEM For Others' CS program at Sunrise this year! We are excited to recontinue the program from last year but this time instead of teaching python we will be teaching Java for the first semester. Only two kids showed up which is understandable because of the lack of advertising but we will see more of the previous class show up over the next few meetings as well as some new faces. We began by teaching the fundamental step of every coding language: How to say Hello World! It is a struggle because many of the kids forgot a lot of their coding from last year or they would mix up java with python rules but at the end of the day both of the students were able to understand the concept and replicate it perfect.
