Hey Aztecs! Today I subbed for Cerisa and taught the students Java. Many were absent due to a field trip that day, but some students who didn't go stayed for our program. We had a strong class of 10 students and we reviewed many of the previous concepts like data types to reinforce their foundations. Using STEMplore, we went over some common problems and even introduced string functions like length(). Using simple analogies (like counting the number of letters in a word), they were able to grasp the concepts pretty well. Overall, a good day and I hope to come soon!
