Wangenheim Weekly Review (3/21/25)

Hi Wildcats! Last week we learned about time and distance, how there are a couple factors in the time it takes for an object to reach a destination. This week, using what we learned, we had a super fun challenge. Using construction paper to create an obstacle course we tried to keep a ping pong ball moving through the course for as long as possible. Since this is an engineering curriculum, and often times engineers are working with limited resources, we limited the groups to 5 sheets of construction paper. To keep everything together, we used tape. A couple of the balls got stuck in the course, stopping the time between 1-3 seconds. Some runs we simple and took about 4-7 seconds. The longest run was able to keep the ball rolling for 14 seconds. Overall, it was a super fun day and everyone had a good time. See you next time Wildcats!
