Hey! I’m Alena Narkaitis, a junior at Los Gatos High School. I’m committed to using computer science to tackle real-world challenges while inspiring young learners. My interest in teaching started when I realized I couldn’t teach my younger brother, which motivated me to reach out to other kids who might not have a guiding sibling. As a chapter president, my team and I work with elementary and middle school students to foster their interest in STEM. As curriculum developer, I design intermediate-level Java and Python courses that cultivate essential skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and digital literacy. My goal is to empower children through technology, helping them develop the independence, teamwork, and critical thinking needed to succeed in today’s world.
