Supportive Family Housing Weekly Review (2/22/25)

This Saturday, we made a fake hand using straws, strings, and paper! Kids learned how joints and tendons work together to create movement, just like in a real hand. By assembling and manipulating their models, kids explored how fingers bend, how tension controls motion, and how our hands help us interact with the world.
