Hello Sparkles! In this focused we returned to chemistry of molecular bonds that we have learned about in our first workshop. We made slime by mixing glue, borax, and water, exploring the science of polymers and how cross-linking turns liquids into stretchy, gooey solids. Everyone experimented with colors and textures to create their perfect slime. We checked if kids remembered what we learned in the first workshop and they told us about monomers and polymers and how they connect to slime-making. There is so much left to explore in this topic, so the kids and us want to return to it again!
