Supportive Family Housing Weekly Review (10/18/24)

Hello everyone! I just recently joined STEM for Others team so we do not have a lot of progress yet but I still want to share. We held the meeting, even though a couple of people from Fisher Middle School signed up, nobody came. But they some of them attended our two previous meetings so it might just be a schedule problem. We are currently in the process of communication with Blossom Hill Elementary principal. Also, I am trying to get help from Los Gatos Rotary club in spreading the word about what we are doing and organizing more sessions. Last week we went to Supportive Family Housing in San José and introduced kids there to chemistry. The kids are really young so we are planning to twist the curriculum a little bit to give them a better understanding of the concepts. That is all for now, but I hope to resolve the issue of low attendance soon enough because I basically reached out to everybody in Los Gatos who could help.
